Newcomers Housing is a Black-led, non-profit organization dedicated to helping Black families and newcomers find safe, affordable, and dignified housing across Canada.


Founded in response to the growing housing crisis, we work to ensure that every newcomer family—regardless of background or income—has access to the resources, guidance, and community support they need to build a stable and fulfilling life in Canada.

Housing Support

We guide families step-by-step through the housing search process, connecting them to safe, affordable, and culturally sensitive housing options.

Information & Referral Services

We connect families to trusted partners offering employment support, legal aid, mental health services, and settlement assistance.

Moving Assistance

We help newcomers relocate efficiently—offering logistical support and partnerships with local moving services to ease their transition.

Our Programs

Affordable Housing Navigator:

Personalized assistance to help newcomers find housing that fits their budget and family needs.

Community Care Circles:

Volunteer-led programs that provide emotional support, mentorship, and integration activities for new families.

Housing Justice Advocacy Hub:

A platform promoting equity in housing policy and raising awareness about racial disparities in the housing sector.

Emergency Relocation Support:

Short-term aid and connections for families facing sudden displacement or housing insecurity.
